Riscky's BBQ

Walked thru the door around 5:45 yesterday evening with family from out of town. Seated in 5 minutes, ordered then we waited over an hour for all 6 of us to be served. 2 orders of pork spareribs should not take over an hour to be served.......your menu claims they are smoked for over 8 hours, daily. The beef ribs were good,. The steaks were over cooked. Medium rare was served well done. Service was under par with minimal information. Told every 10-12 minutes should be out soon. So disappointed we will never return. Had a similar experience at the restaurant in the Stockyards a couple years back. We had not been back to that location since.

Literally the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Cheesecake Factory down the street has better BBQ. The owner also just hovers over tables and stares at you while you eat... little odd. Never again.

It’s a fun place. Servers were super nice. Get the fried pickles! Crisp and hot! Beers were ice cold.

Went today for Veteran's day, service & beer was great...however food was cold and not fresh. Tasted like a couple days old microwaved food. Ordered the 3 combo plate of brisket, beef ribs, and chicken. Food was so dry. The potato salad tasted like pure mustard. Macaroni and cheese tasted like your average boxed store brand kind.

Good burgers,,great ribs,good sauce...great customer service.

Good, but not excellent food. We were happy with everything, but I have been to a lot of BBQ places, so I’m probably picky. I still liked everything fine. The brisket bites for an app was tasty, the three meat meal was good except the smoked catfish was only alright.

Food was good, got Brisket Tacos. Beer selection leaves a little to be desired but a great place downtown to get BBQ.

I don't know where the almost 5 stars come from but I took a leap because I wanted some smoked chicken. Well, after living in Memphis for 11 years I was looking for something close to what I was used to. This isn't it. Not even close. The chicken was smoked but flavorless, the macaroni and cheese and okra was just okay. The potato salad tasted like it came from the local store. Won't be back. Customer service was okay.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we had a tremendous evening and the restaurant was evidently the reason for the happy event. The crew cooperated in a pleasant way, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

My family and I went to eat at Riscky's after walking around Fort Worth. It was a quick wait time and super delicious. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. I will for sure go back!

The food was amazing!! The service was not the best. My husband ordered the all you can eat catfish. When we got his second serving of catfish the cook brought it out then the waitress brought our a serving too. That's great and all but since we cannot take that to go it was a waste of food. Getting a refill on tea was nearly impossible. The music however was AWESOME!!!!! Get the brisket bites!!!!!!

I ordered the ribs. After taking a nice long nap my food finally came out. WARNING: DO NOT ORDER THE RIBS. THEY ARE DRY, NO FLAVOR, FULL OF FAT, AND CHEAP! complete Waste of time and money. Never. Ever. Coming. Back. Again. Go to Texas Road House.

Service was great. Food wasnt as great... Chicken tenders my daughter had didnt taste fresh... Fries were not fresh

I was blown away with the selection/quality of food, atmosphere and most importantly, the hospitality. This was our first time in Texas and my boyfriend and I knew how important it was to have BBQ as our first dinner. We were not disappointed and will be telling all our families back home to stop by and say hi.

Any lacking in their foods aesthetic they definitely make up for in taste! I got the chopped brisket sandwich and it was DELICIOUS, as was the apple cobbler dessert. This was my first experience in Texas BBQ and I really enjoyed it! Plus, you can't beat the price, wow. Would highly recommend!

Not recommended. Ordered the 3 meat platter. Brisket was very fatty, after cutting all fat off, ended up with 2 slices of actual beef. Fried catfish- 4 small pieces that were over fried, tough and no flavor. Beef ribs also very fatty and very salty. Sides included cole slaw, beans and fries. Best part of the entire meal was the house ranch. Service was poor. Server acted like she was doing us a favor, she didnt want to be there. For $20, I'd hands down go to Joe T Garcia's. Very disappointing Riscky's. Blah.

****** needs more stars, food was delicious and our server Daniel, fellow biker, gave us A plus service, much appreciated. Rode in from Arkansas headed back home to South Texas. Definitely will be back and highly recommend eating here.

Sliced beef brisket sandwich with the egg-y bread bun thing was the best brisket sandwich I expect to encounter in this lifetime. Friends recommend not getting the big ole onion they put with to go order. They were right.

Even tho it was a good meal and nice flavor in general, I think the food was kinda heavy for our stomachs. Also the fried pickles were really salty. The BBQ and fried catfish wasnt so bad and the general vibe too. What was extremely delicious was the pudin, what a piece of deliciousness.

Hands down best beef ribs i have ever tasted in my life....I will always come here for BBQ and i live in Mckinney💯😋👍🏾

Good old fashioned BBQ served in a modern family friendly restaurant. Portions are huge, but they do offer smaller dished for those without a big appetite. The homemade warm BBQ sauce they serve with their meats is fantastic, as as the Texas fries they sell with jalapenos and onions. Well worth a visit if you are close by! Service was really friendly and they can accommodate large tables without booking.

Great pork and beef ribs, potato salad, bread and brisket! Desserts: key lime pie not very good. Volcano is good and so is the pecan pie, both cone with vanilla ice cream. Yum! Great service always! Never had to wait for a table, they have a lot of space even during peak hours.

Can't beat risckys barbecue. Especially the ask you can eat BEEF ribs. Staff are always friendly and the food is always good. Enjoyed the alley seating today. Pretty outside. The brisket bites were like lightly deep fried pieces of steak. More meat than expected. Curb fritters were awesome.

So disappointed on so many levels. We had out of town guests from the U.K, and just left with them after seeing their first Rodeo. I told them the steaks and customer service was good. Little did I know, if Riskys will run out of food, perhaps you shouldn't stay open for the Rodeo crowd. We came in and there were some items no longer on the menu as they had run out. Not steaks, but sides. The carrots were scorched and looked like they scraped the bottom of the pot just to bring a little serving. No bread was available, and the waitress couldn't push us any faster to leave unless she wanted to cut our steaks. The amount of money spent that night should of reflected a more better dining experience. I just can not see me ever recommending this place again.B. Anderson

Riscky’s BBQ is my go to place when ever I’m in Fort Worth. The beef ribs are awesome and delicious. Well worth the modest price for all you can eat ribs. I enjoy dining outside on the patio and my waiter Brittany gave me terrific service and attention. Do yourself a favor and treat your appetite to Riscky’s BBQ you will not regret it.

5 stars for the brisket bites alone. Get them they are life altering.

AMAZING! ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH & RIBS!GREAT PRICE. My Waitress Krystal was very good with keeping up with fresh hot Ribs & Catfish. Kept drinks filled! I Will Recommend this location to all my family and friends. This Place Deserves 10 STARS!

Didn’t tried much in Fort Worth but this place definitely one of the best. Just $13 for all you can eat ribs. Amazing taste and amazing atmosphere. I would recommend this place for anyone who hungry and who is first time FW visitor.

Went with my family and they made us feel very welcomed. The place serves good food, drinks the waiters are Texas friendly. I will come back for sure. Totally recommend.

Ordered the all you can eat Ribs no disappointment there. It was delicious, great location great staff. Definitely recommend!

Pros: conveniently located and appropriately rustic location; hearty lunch sandwiches. Cons: some puny sides (like the coleslaw shown); pricey for noted sandwich plus puny side ($16 with a drink); took 30 minutes from placing order to food delivery. 3.5 stars if that was an option - it's okay, but not one I'd specifically recommend.

As hyped up as the brisket was (picture perfect as far as looks) something was up with the taste and quality the day we went. It was slightly too bitter and much too savory. My colleagues too did not finish their meals.. first time that's happened going out for BBQ. I hope the next time I return to the Great State, quality control people step it up and not just rely on history and name. Three stars for the Brisket Bites, they were the most incredible appetizer to date I have enjoyed. Coming back just for those

Found out about this restaurant by asking a local, what's a good BBQ spot to eat at. They suggested "Riscky's Bar-B-Q", if I wanted some really good BBQ. My wife and I came here with our hopes up, to get get some good tasting BBQ. I was blown away with the BBQ, but not in a good way. I was expecting the chicken and ribs I ordered to be full of flavour, boy was I wrong with my thought pattern. The food itself did not have any flavour besides just being cooked with a little to no salt or pepper. It was only when I add BBQ sauce to my food, I had some flavour. Management saw my frustration and let me switch to a burger. Overall the service is great! Management and staff do a great job at making sure you are happy and satisfied. The food itself on the other hand, is a no go for me. I probably would not return unless, I was in a mood for a burger and fries.

The food here is amazing!! I ordered the brisket tacos and they were delicious!! They also offer all-you-can-eat beef ribs that are so tender and tasty! I went with a large group.. There was 9 of us... And it seemed like it took a long time to get a table. And it wasn't even busy.. But once we got seated and got our orders started, the staff was just superb! Friendly, fast service! Definately will return!!!

Great local joint! The beef ribs are really tasty, the brisket was moist and tender and had great flavor. I was sold on the brisket ends battered and deep fried as an appetizer. Those nuggets of goodness were to die for!

All you can eat beef ribs for 14$ you can’t beat that! It’s amazing. Delicious juicy and meat falls right off the bone. Don’t miss out.

This place never disappoints. Our waiter, Marco's was amazing. He was kind and made sure our needs were taken care of. Was the picture of the perfect waiter. Ribs were awesome. The jalapenos here are insanely hot, according to my husband and son. Hahahah

The food was good. I really like the one downtown better. I actually think the food is better downtown. But my biggest complaint is the ridiculously overpriced parking.

Came here for dinner - and one meal is definitely enough for two people. It was very good through. I has the ribs and it was basket size along with some fried okra that was very tasty. As you can see other's in my group were more adventurous and went for the samples - and the portions were HUGE.

Good food western atmosphere. Brisket was very good. Fried okra available. Tacos and French fries as well as steaks. Something for everyone.

Loved the brisket and the pork ribs. For desert, the bread pudding was great. If your lucky you'll get Marcus for a waiter. Great personality and attentive to the progress of your meal. Never have to ask for anything as he is always 1 step ahead of you.

Tried something new this time @ Riscky's...the "Swiss Oinker"....their smoked ham, piled high on a bun with Swiss cheese...served warm, with a bowl of pinto beans as my side. Was delicious with onions, lettuce, tomato & a jalapeno. Hold the mayo...mustard only.

Good food, good beer. Reasonable prices. Country music on the radio. Nice!

We stopped for the all you can eat RIBS!! Well the ribs were over salty unfortunately as a BBQ man I was a little let down. The ribs were soft and tender but I was lacking the true smoked BBQ flavor. I did like the brisket bites, the coating was nice and crunchy, very well coated and they give you plenty on the plate! The Shiner Bock on tap was good and cold which I enjoyed! The bathroom was really tiny, crazy shape but did the job. I liked the chili cheese fries we ordered, definitely plenty of flavor hot and fresh. I don't know if I would come back. Probably not due too the over seasoning of the meat. I like the buffalo heads on the walls, Kool look but just not good enough to come back! Maybe worth a trip. But I wouldn't repeat it. But it was good overall besides the over salting on the meat! Good luck folks😉😉

We had an amazing experience at this place. We loved the nice vibes and the meals. The staff members were very attentive. I’m content we ultimately managed to visit this restaurant.

The food is good, service is amazing. The service made up for the quality of food. Maybe we just went on an off day, meat wasn't as moist and tender.

Always good. Nice foods and employees. Their ribs are the best in town.
